 After Prime minister announces Rs 1000cr seed fund to Indian startups, Piyush Goyal as a Commerce Minister said that Indian established entrepreneurs should support new Indian startups at their early stage of funding.

He also mentioned that rather taking funds from government, Indian startups should be supported by Indian businessmen as they can provide much growth  and stability to the startup environment.

He noted that the Indian startups have not been able to get an adequate domestic capital even as the government has tried to provide seed and capital funding, He also said that there should not be any indulgence of government and holded by our Indian startups.



In recent years most of the Indian startups are sold to foreign investors less than it's true valuation and this can bring harm to our startup culture in future,

He also mentioned that India Inc entrepreneurs should mentor new startups and help them to build their business and overcome their initial difficulties.

He also urged that Indian investors should also support BIMSTEC region (South Asian Nations)Messages from Member States [ BIMSTEC DAY-2017] – Home – Bay of Bengal  Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation

Goyal said " I will make sure that Invest India Pioneers a dedicate startup helpdesk which can work across state between ministers and businessmen.

There are 42,633 startups recognized and each recognized startups generate 12 new jobs in India,

PM Modi has also launched a television show Startup Champions  that will be telecasted on doordarshan.
